Simonsen holds off Eriksson Krabbe to capture Blekinge Open

Martin Leth Simonsen secured his second victory of the Cutter & Buck season with a composed performance at the Big Green Egg Blekinge Open, finishing at 13 under par to win by one stroke at Trummenäs Golfklubb in Blekinge.

The Dane from Aalborg was pushed all the way by Isak Eriksson Krabbe, who posted a fine 12-under total to finish as sole runner-up. Algot Kleén claimed third place at 11 under, while Sebastian Petersen and Jesper Hagborg Asp shared fourth on 10 under par.

Simonsen continues a strong run of form that has already produced a memorable victory at the INFINITUM ECCO Masters earlier this season, where he posted a remarkable 23-under winning total. He also finished third at the Sand Valley Masters, making him one of the most consistent performers on tour this year.

A field of 156 players teed it up at Trummenäs, with 48 making the cut at two under par. The tight leaderboard throughout the week underlined the quality of play on show, and Simonsen's ability to stay one step ahead under pressure further cements his standing as a player to watch as the season unfolds.
