Karlsson wins Göteborg Open on sixth play-off hole

Anton Karlsson won the Indoor Golf Group Göteborg Open after a six-hole play-off at Forsgårdens Golfklubb. Three players — Karlsson, Joachim Brandt Hansen and Lucas Augustsson — all finished on -6 after 54 holes, and it took six extra holes before Karlsson came out on top.

The win adds to a strong season for the Upsala Golfklubb player. Karlsson finished second at the Gamle Fredrikstad Open earlier this year and was also tied third at the Trust Forsikring Championship.

One shot behind the three leaders, Hlynur Bergsson from Iceland ended alone in fourth place at -5. Roope Kakko from Finland took fifth place at -4.

The field started with 156 players, and 48 made the cut at +2. Scoring was tight throughout the week, with just one shot separating first and fourth place on the final leaderboard.
