Axell wins NeH Hammarö Open by one shot

Johannes Axell won the NeH Hammarö Open at Hammarö Golfklubb with a total score of nine under par. The victory was tight — four players finished just one shot behind him at eight under par.

Tied for second place were Jacob Björnberg, Eric McIntosh, Oliver Lilliedahl and David Nyfjäll. All four ended on eight under par but could not catch Axell, who stayed one step ahead through the final round.

Axell has been one of the most consistent players on tour this season. He finished tied for second at both the Cutter & Buck Fjällbacka Open and the Holtsmark Open earlier this year. This time he went one better and picked up his first win of the season.

The tournament had 150 players in the field. Fifty players made the cut, which fell at three over par.
